Inference, 2023

In memory of Lucienne Ménard.

Through form, composition and color, this work is an analogy to the singular construction of one's immediate environment and the importance of external influences on our identity. It expresses itself differently than through the usual strata seen in a core sample and opens up the space as a "fertile ground for thinking about this relationship to difference" (Erin Manning, 2019).

Private collection.
