Point pivot, 2021
Winner of a public art contest, Point pivot commemorates the 99 victims of Canada’s worst ever railway disaster when a train plunged from a swing bridge into the Richelieu River in 1864. The title references the mechanism of the bridge which had been opened to let boats pass.
